Raspberry Buttercream Frosting Recipe

Raspberry Buttercream Frosting made with simple ingredients such as butter, powder sugar, and raspberry jam. The key is in the raspberry jam, which not only infuses the frosting with vibrant color but also gives it an irresistible fruity taste!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Prep: Pull the butter out of the fridge and let it come to room temperature. If you remember this about an hour before you start making the frosting, you won't regret it!
  • Mix: In a large bowl, use an electric mixer (or stand mixer) to cream the room temperature butter until it's light and smooth. Add in 1 cup of the powder sugar and mix again until combined. Then add the milk and another cup of powder sugar, mix well. Add in the vanilla extract and the last cup of powder sugar. Mix again until all ingredients are combined, make sure to scrape the sides of the bowl down too.
  • Add in the raspberry jam and mix again until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy. Scrape the sides of the bowl down during this last mixing process. Proceed to add the frosting to your treat of choice, serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftover buttercream frosting at room temperature for 2-3 days. To extend the life of the frosting to about 1 week, I recommend keeping it in the fridge.
