- 1 ¼ cups old fashioned oats
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- ¼ cup water
- 2 TBSP bacon bits
Next, in a food processor, or blender, pulse the oats 4 to 5 times until the oats are broken down into smaller pieces but not quite the consistency of store-bought flour. Should yield about 1 cup oat flour.
Mix the oat flour, peanut butter, water and bacon bits in a large mixing bowl until it forms a thick dough. Cover and chill for 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
On a floured surface, roll the dough to a 1/4” thick. Use a dog-bone cookie cutter and cut the cookies. A 1" cookie cutter will yield about 50 treats.
Place the treats onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes, let cool on drying rack. Hope your pups ENJOY!
Store in an airtight container. Use within 7 days. Refrigeration will prolong shelf-life.
Dog biscuits can be frozen for up to 1 month.
