Prep: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set them aside.
Make dough: In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract and mix to combine.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add the dry mixture to the butter mixture and stir until incorporated.
