- 16 oz package rotini noodles
- 1 ½ cups mayonnaise
- ¼ cup buttermilk or sour cream
- 2 TBSP Ranch seasoning
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 cup frozen green peas
- ½ cup green bell pepper diced
- 8 oz ham diced
Prep: Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Rinse it with cold water and drain well, set it aside. Dice the bell pepper and ham into small bite sized pieces and set it all aside for a future step.
Dressing: In a small mixing bowl, add the mayonnaise, buttermilk (or sour cream), Ranch seasoning, and pepper. Using a spoon or whisk, mix until all is thoroughly combined.
Assemble: In a separate large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, frozen peas, diced bell pepper, and ham. Stir to combine. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and stir until all ingredients are evenly coated.
Chill: Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least an hour. This pasta salad is best served chilled, it allows the flavors to meld and the peas time to thaw. Enjoy!
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days.
It is not recommended to freeze this pasta salad, the texture doesn't hold up well when defrosted.
