Cherry Crisp is made with cherry pie filling, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a few other simple ingredients. This delicious cherry dessert is best served warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream...or both!
In a small bowl, mix cherry pie filling with almond extract. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in a greased 9X13 pan.
In a separate bowl, cut the butter into the flour with two forks or a pastry cutter.
Add the remaining ingredients and distribute evenly over the pie filling. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown, and the filling is heated through the middle.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
