Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups oat flour or whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 ripe banana mashed
  • ¼ cup coconut oil melted
  • 2 eggs
  • Plain Greek yogurt for topping optional
  • Small dog bones whole or crushed for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prep: Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray a donut pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
  • Batter: Add flour, oats, blueberries, banana, coconut oil and eggs to a large mixing bowl. Mix gently until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
  • Spoon the mixture into the donut pan. Using the back of the spoon or hands, lightly press mixture into the pan until completely filled and smooth on top. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until firm.
  • Bake: Place in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until firm. Lift gently to remove donuts from the pan, allow to cool completely on a wire rack.
  • Toppings: Using a butter knife, spread a teaspoon of Greek yogurt onto each donut. Add dog bones and extra blueberries to top, if desired. Hope your pup enjoys them!

Notes

 Left over dog donuts should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and they will last up to 5 days. For longer storage store in the freezer for up to 4 months.
