- 3 pound pork loin
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup balsamic vinegar
- ⅓ cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 TBSP minced dried onion
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
Prep: Place the pork loin in a slow cooker.
Marinade: In a medium bowl combine the chicken broth, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, honey, brown sugar, dried onion, garlic salt and paprika. Pour the mixture over the pork loin.
Cook: Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours until the meat is fork tender.
Remove the pork and shred it.
Sauce: Take the liquid from the slow cooker and place into a large skillet and over medium heat reduce the liquid until it becomes a thick sauce.
Mix the shredded pork with the sauce. Serve over rice, buttered noodles or alongside roasted potatoes. Enjoy!
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
