Ingredients

Big Mac Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 TBSP ketchup
  • ½ tsp yellow mustard
  • 2 TBSP sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp white distilled vinegar
  • 1 tsp white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • tsp coarse kosher salt

Taco Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef 93% lean
  • 4 small tortilla shells 6 inch
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp coarse kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¾ cup yellow onion minced, divided
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 1 cup iceberg lettuce shredded
  • 12 pickle slices

Instructions

  • Sauce prep: Whisk together all the sauce ingredients in a bowl until well combined. Then place it in the fridge to chill while the rest of the meal is prepared.
  • Prep beef: Portion out the uncooked beef into 4 equal sections and place each section onto a tortilla shell. Using clean hands or a fork, spread the beef on the tortilla shell.
  • Top each patty with ⅛ of a teaspoon of garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Dice the onion into small pieces and add 2 tablespoons of the onion to each taco. Proceed to press the seasonings and onions into the beef.
  • Cook: Place the tortilla beef side down into a sauté pan and cook for 4-6 minutes over low-medium heat or until the beef is no longer pink. Flip the tortilla shell over and add a slice of cheese to each patty. Place a lid on top of the sauté pan for 1 minute so the shell gets golden brown and the cheese melts.
  • Remove the tortilla shell from the sauté pan once the cheese has melted. Top each tortilla shell with lettuce, the remainder of the onion, pickles, and drizzle the sauce over all the toppings. Serve immediately and enjoy!
