Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ¼ tsp season salt
  • tsp pepper
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened and cubed
  • ½ cup milk
  • 6 oz cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 oz Velveeta cheese cubed
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • ¼ cup red onion diced
  • cup tomato diced

Instructions

  • Cook meat: Over medium heat, brown ground beef. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Assemble dip: Drain any extra grease from the ground beef and add the cream cheese and stir until the cream cheese is mostly melted.
  • Add the milk, cheddar cheese and Velveeta cheese and continue stirring over low heat until the cheese is fully melted.
  • Allow the dip to cool for 15 minutes. In the meantime, prepare your toppings.
  • Toppings & serve: Shred the lettuce, dice the onion, and chop the tomato. Add the toppings to the meat mixture.
  • Serve dip alongside chips, crackers, baguette slices, or any other dipper of your choice. Enjoy!

Notes

Cheeseburger dip can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. (You'll want to remove the lettuce topping prior to storing it as the lettuce will wilt. Top with new chopped lettuce after reheating.)
The cheeseburger dip without the toppings can be frozen for up to 2 months.
