Ingredients

  • 33 Oreo cookies 3 cups crumbs
  • 2 cups peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 20 ounces milk chocolate or dark chocolate melting chocolate

Instructions

  • Add Oreos to a food processor or blender and pulse until fine crumbs form.
  • Add Oreo crumbs and peanut butter together in a large mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to mix the ingredients together well. Add the powdered sugar and mix in until well combined.
  • Use a cookie scoop to scoop out 1 inch balls of the mixture. Roll the balls between your hands and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper. Freeze the balls for at least 30 minutes.
  • Before removing the balls from the freezer, melt the chocolate in a microwaveable dish. Microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until chocolate is melted and smooth. Pull out several frozen balls at a time (you want the other ones to stay frozen until you're ready for them), and dip each one in the melted chocolate. Let the excess chocolate drip off and then place each dipped ball onto another baking sheet lined with parchment or wax paper.
  • If you want to add sprinkles or crushed Oreos on top, make sure to add those immediately after dipping, before the chocolate sets up. To add a drizzle, melt some white chocolate and place in a ziplock bag with one of the bottom corners snipped.
  • Peanut Butter Oreo Balls can be stored at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
