Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter softened
  • cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • dash of salt

Instructions

  • Prep: In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the softened butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Mix on medium speed for 5 minutes. You can also accomplish this step with a large bowl and electric hand held mixer.
  • If after mixing for 5 minutes the butter is still grainy, add 1-2 TBSP of heavy cream or milk and beat again for 2-3 minutes.
  • Store & chill: You can store the butter in an airtight container on the countertop or the fridge. Refrigerating the butter will prolong shelf life.
  • Serve: Immediately use the butter on any number of things, cooking, baking, a simple snack of sweet butter and toast! However, you choose to use it, enjoy!

Butter can be frozen for up to 6 months.
