Air Fryer Apple Fritters
Air Fryer Apple Fritters are fluffy on the inside and have a crunch on the outside just like a classic apple fritter. No oil needed for frying, and these simple pastries are even better when topped with a simple cinnamon glaze.

For the fritter batter:
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup of milk
- 2 tbsp of butter melted
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp of granulated sugar
- 3 tsp of baking powder
- ½ tsp of cinnamon
- ¼ tsp of nutmeg
- ¼ tsp of salt
- 21 oz can of apple pie filling
For the cinnamon glaze:
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp of milk
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- ½ tsp of cinnamon
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and melted butter until fully combined.
Slowly whisk in flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. (The batter will be thick, this is normal.)
Pour apple pie filling onto a cutting board and cut apple slices in half.
Fold the apple pie filling into the batter.
Line your air fryer with a liner or cut parchment paper to fit the bottom of the basket.
Spoon fritter batter into the air fryer and leave 1 inch between each fritter. (You should be able to fit 3-4 at a time)
Cook at 370° F for 8-10 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Repeat until there’s no batter left.
Mix all of the ingredients for the glaze in a small bowl.
Allow fritters to cool, then dip in the glaze.
