Ingredients

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup salted butter melted
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 ½ cups blueberries
  • ½ cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°.
  • In a medium sized bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until a slightly wet, sandy mixture forms. Set the bowl aside.
  • Rinse the blueberries and combine them in a medium sized bowl with the white sugar and vanilla until the blueberries are evenly coated in the sugar.
  • Pour the blueberries into a 7"x11" (or 9"X9") baking dish. Top the blueberries with the oat crumble mixture.
  • Bake the crumble for 45 minutes and allow it to cool slightly before serving. The dessert is delicious on it's own, but even better with a scoop (or two) of vanilla ice cream.
