Orange Glazed Carrots

Orange Glazed Carrots are simple, sweet and make the perfect side dish for any meal. Sweet, tender carrots coated with a delicious orange glaze.

  • 5 medium carrots
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp butter


  • Slice carrots about 1/4” thick. Fill a medium saucepan half full of water and bring to a boil. Add carrots and boil them until just tender (about 5-7 minutes).
  • Drain and set aside.
  • In saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, ginger and salt. Add juice and cook over medium heat. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in the butter until melted. Pour over the carrots and serve.
