  • 15.25 oz chocolate cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ cup water
  • cup oil
  • 3.4 oz Cookies and cream instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips


  • Spray your ceramic pot with cooking spray or grease it with olive oil.
  • Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the directions on the box.
  • Pour the chocolate cake mix batter into the crock pot.
  • Make the cookies and cream pudding by mixing the pudding mix and milk together.
  • Allow the pudding to set for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add scoops of the pudding on top of the chocolate cake mix.
  • Sprinkle chocolate chips over top of the pudding mix.
  • Place the cover on the crock pot and cook for 2 - 2 ½ hours on HIGH.
  • Scoop out the lava cake and top with ice cream or whipped cream.
