Ingredients

Cheesecake filing

  • 18 OREO cookies crushed
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 32 oz cream cheese four 8-oz blocks, softened
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 eggs

Ganache topping

  • 6 oz semi sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips
  • Assorted Lindor truffles

Instructions

Making the cheesecake

  • Start by preheating your oven to 300 degrees F. Spray your pie pan (best choice is a 10-inch springform pan) with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
  • In a medium size bowl, crumble the cookies into small pieces for sand-like texture. Then, add the melted butter to the cookie crumbs and mix until well combined. Next, press into the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  • Then, in a separate large bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  • Then, add the melted chocolate chips to the cream cheese mixture and blend together well.
  • Now, add in the eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition until combined.
  • Lastly, pour the pie filling over your prepared crust.
  • Proceed to bake in the oven for 1hour and 5 minutes until the center is almost set.
  • When the pie is finished baking, run a knife along the rim of the pan to loosen the cake and then let it cool completely before removing the rim.

Ganache topping

  • First, heat up the heavy cream in a small pot on the stove or in a bowl in the microwave until just simmering.
  • Next, pour the hot cream over the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a bowl and cover. Let this sit for 2 minutes and melt together. Stir until smooth.
  • Then, pour the chocolate and cream mixture over the top of the cheesecake.
  • Now it is time to chill! Place the cheesecake in the fridge for 4 hours to chill and set.
  • Before serving, melt the white chocolate chips in a small bowl in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  • Then, drizzle the white chocolate over the top of the cheesecake for a dramatic affect that gives the cheesecake a very official look.
  • Add your assorted chocolate truffles to the cheesecake for a final touch.
  • Slice, serve and enjoy!
