Ingredients

cup
water

tablespoon
lemon juice
1
cup
sugar
¼
cup
cornstarch

teaspoon
vanilla extract

cups
peaches
fresh or frozen, sliced
Instructions
In a large pot over medium high heat add in the water, lemon juice, sugar and cornstarch.
Whisk constantly until mixture becomes thick and comes to a bubble.
Remove from heat and add the vanilla and your peaches.
Stir everything gently to combine.
Use in pies, cakes, cobblers or even just on top of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Recipe yields 4 cups of peach pie filling.
