Halloween Candy Corn Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Quick Oats
  • 1 cup Crispy Rice cereal
  • 1/4 cup salted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini Candy Corns
  • 3 TBSP Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  • Spray an 8x8 pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
  • Combine butter, brown sugar and honey together in a medium sized bowl. Microwave on high for 1:30. Stir, then return back to the microwave for another 2 minutes.
  • Pour in oats, cereal and vanilla. Stir several minutes, until very well combined.
  • Add in half the candy corns and 2 TBSP sprinkles. Stir.
  • Transfer mixture to prepared pan. Press down with spatula or your hands as well as you can, so that mixture is condensed and even.
  • Spread remaining candy corns and sprinkles over the top of the bars. Press them down into the granola bars firmly.
  • Transfer to fridge to cool for about 1 hour.
  • Using a knife, lift one corner of the bars then place on a cutting board. Cut square in half, then cut each rectangle into 7 bars. Yields 14 bars total.
  • Enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container. I like to package each bar in a small snack bag so they're ready to go!
