  • 4 cups strawberries, diced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp lemon zest

Topping ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter, cold
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt


  • Preheat oven to 375ºF. Grease an 11x7 inch baking dish.
  • In a small bowl combine the cinnamon and sugar.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine strawberries, cinnamon sugar mixture and flour. Gently stir to coat.
  • Add lemon juice and lemon zest to strawberries and transfer to greased 11x7 inch pan

How to make Strawberry Crisp Topping

  • In a food processor combine the flour, oats, cinnamon, sugar, salt and butter. Pulse until the topping looks like coarse crumbs.
  • Pour the topping over the top of the strawberries in the baking dish, making sure to coat evenly and go all the way to the edges.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and fruit is soft and bubbly. Serve hot or cold.
