This Creamy Salsa Verde that has a wonderful fresh flavor that only takes about 5 minutes to put together! Eat it with chips or serve it in tacos or smothered over enchiladas.

  • 1 cup tomatillo salsa verde [I bought a 16-oz jar and used half].
  • 1 avocado smashed until creamy
  • 1 TBSP fresh cilantro {or more if you're like me and adore cilantro!}
  • ½ tsp lime juice
  • coarse salt a pinch or two- if desired


  • In a medium size bowl mash the avocado with a fork. You can leave some small chunks to add to the texture.
  • Next, add in the Tomatillo salsa verde. Mix until combined.
  • Last, add in the cilantro, lime juice and salt. Stir until well combined. Taste test to ensure it is the right flavor you want, add more salt or lime juice if you feel inclined. Make sure to add a little extra at a time, you don't want to over use one ingredient and throw the flavor off completely.
