  • 1 loaf Italian bread
  • 4 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1 stick of butter softened
  • 8 oz. shredded mozzarella
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley


  • In a medium sized bowl, blend the cream cheese and butter together with an electric mixer. Beat for about 2-3 minutes, until well blended.
  • Stir in the mozzarella cheese. Add the garlic salt, garlic powder and parsley and mix well.
  • Cut the loaf of bread in half horizontally and spread the cheese mixture on both halves. Put the halves back together and cut into slices.
  • Place slices on a cookie sheet and broil for about 2-3 minutes. (Don't go too far from your oven - I'm notorious for forgetting I have bread under the broiler and it can burn really fast if you're not paying attention!)
