Course: Dessert
Servings: 3 apples

  • 5 oz. box Milk Duds
  • 1 Tbsp milk
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla
  • 2-3 medium apples
  • wooden craft sticks

  • Wash and dry apples, remove stems. Insert stick into stem end of apple and set aside.
  • In a glass bowl, combine Milk Duds, milk, butter and vanilla. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each interval until the mixture is completely melted and smooth. Make sure the mixture is extremely hot - the hotter it is, the thinner the mixture will be and the easier it is to coat the apples.
  • Dip apples in the caramel mixture using a spoon to help coat the apples evenly. Place coated apples on wax paper and let stand until the candy coating firms up. Enjoy!
