- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup salted butter melted
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 ½ cups blueberries
- ½ cup white granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat the oven to 425°.
In a medium sized bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon until a slightly wet, sandy mixture forms. Set the bowl aside.
Rinse the blueberries and combine them in a medium sized bowl with the white sugar and vanilla until the blueberries are evenly coated in the sugar.
Pour the blueberries into a 7"x11" (or 9"X9") baking dish. Top the blueberries with the oat crumble mixture.
Bake the crumble for 45 minutes and allow it to cool slightly before serving. The dessert is delicious on it's own, but even better with a scoop (or two) of vanilla ice cream.
