Ingredients

  • 16 Cookies Oreos or any chocolate sandwich cookie.
  • ¾ cup Chocolate syrup
  • 2 cups Cool whip
  • 1 Banana sliced
  • 1 cup Strawberries diced

Instructions

Prep

  • Start by crushing the cookies in a food processor or put them in a ziplocked plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. You want to create a sand like texture, break up all the large chunks.
  • Next, wash your strawberries, remove the stems and dice them into small bite size cubes.
  • After that, dice the banana into slices as well. I like to slice mine, then cut each slice in half.
  • Then, in a large bowl combine the cookie crumbles, chocolate syrup and cool whip. Mix well to combine.

Assemble

  • Proceed to take half of the cut fruit and add to the cool whip mixture and mix together.
  • In a tall glass or bowl, assemble the sundaes by switching between plain fruit and the fruit-chocolate mixture. Add two scoops of cool whip mixture, then a few slices of each fruit, alternate between the two until you have filled the glass or bowl to your desired amount. I typically do the bottom layer of cool whip cookie mixture, then a layer of fruit, then top it off with more whipped mixture.
  • If desired, you can put the sundaes into the refrigerator to chill for 20 minutes or so. Or you can serve and enjoy immediately, either way it will be a delicious treat!
