  • 1 Large bowl of cold water

Ingredients

  • Pomegranates

Instructions

  • Start by filling a large bowl with cold water, set aside.
  • Then, with a small knife, cut a few slices into the top of the pomegranate. Be careful, they do drip. It is best to hold it over the bowl of water, it catches the mess.
  • Proceed to set the pomegranate in the bowl of the cold water and start digging into the cut openings.
  • Prepare to have cold hands and just start peeling away. The white skin will float, and the seeds will sink. Scrape off the floaties (technical cooking word) and toss them in the trash.
  • Once you have cleaned the entire pomegranate, lay the seeds out on some paper towels to dry.
  • Serve and eat immediately or store in an airtight container to save for later.
