Monster Cookies are known for being big, chewy, and loaded with a variety of ingredients. One of the unique features of monster cookies recipe is that they are often made without flour, which gives them a nice thick texture.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 1 ½ cups peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 4 ½ cups oats grind into flour in the blender
  • 1 cup M&Ms mini or regular
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Prep: Preheat oven to 350°. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper, or silicon mats, and then set it aside.
  • Grind the oats in your blender or food processor. You don't have to take this step; it can be skipped. However, by blending the oats it creates the most amazing cookie texture!
  • Cookie dough: In a large mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, cream the butter, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar for about 2-3 minutes. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mix again well.
  • Add the oat flour and baking soda, mix into the butter mixture until smooth. Continue to stir in the M&Ms and chocolate chips.  
  • Scoop and bake: Use a medium size cookie scoop to scoop out tablespoonfuls of dough and place on the prepared cookie sheets. Place them in the preheated oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.  
  • Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the cookie sheets and then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

These cookies will stay fresh for up to 5 days if stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
Place them in an airtight container or freezer bag and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature before serving.
