Apple German Pancake

- 2 apples peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 4 Tbsp butter divided
- 4 Tbsp sugar divided
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup flour
Preheat oven to 425°.
Smear 2 tablespoons of butter in the bottom of a pie dish or oven proof skillet. Cover bottom with apples and then sprinkle with cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar. Bake for 10 minutes.
Mix eggs, milk, flour and the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar. Pour over the baked apples.
Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and pour butter over everything else in the pan.
Bake 15 minutes or until browned and puffy. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot.
