Banana Donuts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
- 3 TBSP cornstarch (30g)
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 2 TBSP butter (30g)
Chocolate Glaze
- 5.3 oz dark chocolate 52% cocoa, chopped (150g)
Banana Donuts
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Start to melt the butter. Set aside
Mash the bananas with a fork or a mixer.
Combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and sugar.
Add the mashed bananas, the eggs, and the melted butter. Stir well but not overmix.
Pour the mix into the donut pan and place in the oven for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Transfer carefully the donuts to a cooling rack and let them cool completely.
Chocolate Glaze
Place the chopped chocolate in a microwave proof bowl. Melt for 30 seconds at a time, stirring after each time until it is completely melted and smooth.
Dip one face of each donut into the melted chocolate (one at a time). Place the donut, glaze-side-up on a cooling rack and add chocolate sprinkles. Let the chocolate set and enjoy.
