Easy blueberry jam is a delicious homemade jam recipe with only 2 ingredients (and water!) Super simple recipe that's ready in under an hour & perfect way to preserve fresh blueberries!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries or frozen blueberries*
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan add the blueberries, sugar, and water. Stir to combine.
  • Place over medium heat stirring occasionally until it comes to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 30-35 minutes until thickened.
  • Once the mixture starts to thicken, stir constantly. You know it’s ready when the jam is stirred, you can see the bottom of the pan.
  • Let the jam cool and then pour it into an airtight container or jar & store in the fridge for up to 7-10 days. Jam can also be frozen in an airtight container for up to 2 months.

Notes

*Frozen berries will give off more water, so you can omit the 1 tbsp of water. You may have to cook them about 5 minutes longer as well. 
Serve fresh blueberry jam on muffins, biscuits, scones or toast. Delightful on pancakes & waffles, crepes or even as an ice cream topping!
