Raspberry Frosting

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter room temperature
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp raspberry jam

Instructions

  • Prep: Start by pulling the butter out of the fridge and letting it come to room temperature. If you remember this about an hour before you start making the frosting, you won't regret it!
  • Mix: In a large bowl, using an electric mixer (or stand mixer), cream the room temperature butter until light and smooth. Then, add in 1 cup of the powder sugar and mix again until combined. Next, add in the milk and 1 cup of powder sugar, mix well. After that, add in the vanilla extract and the last 1 cup of powder sugar. Mix again well until all ingredients are combined, make sure to scrape the sides of the bowl down too.
  • Then, add in the raspberry jam and mix again until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy. Scrape the sides of the bowl down during this last mixing process. Proceed to add the frosting to your treat of choice, serve and enjoy!
