  • 6 TBSP butter divided
  • 3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese divided

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder rounded

Easy Dinner Roll Recipe to serve 6-9 people:

  • 12 frozen white dinner rolls like Rhodes brand rolls
  • 4 TBSP butter divided
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese divided
  • 1/2 tsp dry parsley flakes rounded
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder rounded

Instructions

  • Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick spray and set aside. If you're using a springform pan, cover the outside of the bottom of the pan with a piece of foil to prevent spillage. Then place the entire pan on a cookie sheet.
  • Place the rolls on a dinner plate and microwave using the defrost setting for 3-5 minutes, until rolls are soft enough to be cut in half. If you'd rather not thaw in the microwave, you can set the rolls in a warm place to thaw out for about 45 minutes.
  • Cut each thawed roll in half using kitchen shears and place in prepared pan.
  • Melt half the butter in a small bowl. Add seasonings and stir gently to combine. Measure out half the Parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the thawed rolls. Pour butter mixture on top.¬†Use a rubber scraper and stir gently to coat each roll. Arrange rolls in 1 layer around pan.
  • Top with remaining Parmesan Cheese and remaining butter, melted. Cover pan with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes, until tops are golden brown. Brush tops with an additional 1 TBSP melted butter if desired.
