Easy Pumpkin Pretzels are chocolate covered pretzels made with just a few ingredients and perfect for Halloween! These chocolate covered pretzels are a fun and festive treat to serve at your next Halloween party or bring to your kids school for their class party.
Prep: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Melt chocolate: Begin by placing the white chocolate chips in a glass bowl along with coconut oil and microwave on high for 1 minute. Let the chocolate sit in the microwave for an additional1 minute, then stir gently, and return to the microwave for 15 seconds, if needed. *If using candy melts, omit the use of the coconut oil, it will not be necessary. Next, add the orange food coloring to chocolate and stir gently to combine well.
Assemble: Proceed to dip each pretzel into the bowl of chocolate, gently tapping the edge of the bowl to release excess chocolate. This process is so much easier when you use a dipping tool! Then lay each of the covered pretzels down on the prepared baking sheet. Next, place 1 green chocolate candy into the top indent of the pretzel on its side, so it is standing up and looks like the stem of the pumpkin. Let cool for about30-60 minutes or until solid.
Repeat the process until you have the desired amount of pumpkin pretzels, re-heating up the chocolate as necessary.
