CINNAMON POPCORN

Ingredients

  • 16 cups popped popcorn three 4-oz bags
  • 1 egg white lightly beaten
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Prep: Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Next, pop the popcorn according to the package directions. When popped, sort through the popcorn to remove any duds.
  • Transfer the popcorn to a large mixing bowl and set it aside.
  • Coating: In a small bowl, whisk together egg white, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Drizzle over popcorn and stir gently, doing your best to coat popcorn with cinnamon mixture.
  • Bake: Pour the coated popcorn on the prepared baking sheet and place in the preheated oven to bake for 20 minutes. Let the popcorn cool for just a few minutes, then serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Makes 2 quarts.
