- 2 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 apple peeled, cored & diced
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- ¼ cup water
Prep: Get the oven preheating to 350°F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and set it aside. Also, core, peel and dice the apple into small chunks.
Dough: In a food processor, or blender, pulse the oats 4 to 5 times until the oats are broken down into smaller pieces but not quite the consistency of store-bought flour.
Mix the oat flour, apple, peanut butter and water in a large mixing bowl until it forms a thick dough. Cover and chill for 15 minutes.
Shape: On a floured surface, roll the dough to a 1/4” thick. Use a dog-bone cookie cutter and cut the cookies. A 1" cookie cutter will yield about 50 treats.
Bake: Place the treats onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 minutes, let cool on drying rack. Hope your pups ENJOY!
