I prefer to not use fresh fruit in this recipe because there is too much moisture & can produce mildew inside.
I had an experience with something similar regarding “Sherries Berries.”
However, as a professional entertainer/caterer…I do have great success with using the raspberry extract flavoring including seedless jam of same flavor.
For best results when using fresh fruit in this recipe it should be eaten within one day.

Love the raspberry added to these! Glad you liked the candy coating – this is actually the same thing as CandiQuik candy coating! Candiquik packages it for the Kroger brand 🙂
