In reply to Lynne Gardner. There is enough sugar added to the whipping cream to stabilize it. I've always kept them at room temperature, although to be honest, they haven't ever lasted more than a day or two!

There is cream in the recipe that is perishable; Is it safe to leave on counter in a container and not refridgerate it? Thanks

O.M.G I LOVE these treats! They are not overly sweet and that pop of cranberry, of which I add another 1/2 cup, is perfection! Added them to my homemade Christmas treat packages this year and they were a huge hit! Actually, just made another batch for me!
