I made these for work, I used lemon oreos and the flavor with the freeze dried strawberries was delicious. Great recipe

What about using dry strawberry jello powder in place of freeze dried?

In reply to Brenda. Unfortunately, I do not recommend using anything besides another freeze dried fruit (raspberries, blueberries, etc). You need the berries to be freeze-dried because most of the moisture has been removed so it won't throw off the consistency of the mix. Using fresh or frozen will definitely not work the same. You can friend freeze dried strawberries at Walmart, food health stores, Amazon, Dollar General, Target, and more. To find them in a store near you go to Google and type in "freeze dried strawberries" and then click on the shopping tab to see which stores carry it.
