A sweet & salty celebration with the mix of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, pretzels and marshmallows! These easy-to-make Reese’s Pretzel Bars are perfect!
While browsing Pinterest the other day I found this amazing recipe perfect for Super Bowl Sunday. The recipe is for a dessert bar made from Reese’s Peanut Butter cups, marshmallows and pretzels- doesn’t that sound incredible?! Talk about a sweet & salty win! They were so easy to make and everyone loved the flavors.
To make shopping easier, I used the brand new Kroger app called Board to Table. It’s a new iOS app in customer trial mode that simplifies making a grocery list from recipes I find on Pinterest. It was really super handy! It took just a few minutes to load the app and wait for it to import all my pins. ( I pin a lot!) Once it was ready, I pulled up the pin from one of my Pinterest recipe boards on Board to Table and the app transferred the list of ingredients to my Kroger app, where my shopping list is located. I was able to see the exact measurements needed for the recipe in the Recipe List Summary, so that I could make sure to get enough of each item at the store. If you use Pinterest and shop at any Kroger affiliated grocery store, you’ve got to check out Board to Table! It’s only available to a limited number of participants, so if you’re interested, go grab it from the app store.
Now, on to my dessert!
Reese’s Pretzel Bars
found via the Kroger Inspired Gathering site
- 3 cups pretzels
- 1 cup coarsely chopped salted peanuts
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups Reese’s Minis Peanut Butter Cups, divided
- 4 cups mini marshmallows (or 40 large marshmallows)
- 1/3 cup Reese’s Pieces candies, for topping
- Line an 8×8 glass pan with a piece of parchment paper. Set aside.
- Measure 3 cups of whole pretzels into a large bag. Crush pretzels until pieces are broken, but not turned to crumbs. Add chopped peanuts to the bag, toss to combine and set aside.
- In a large glass bowl, melt butter in the microwave for 45 seconds. Add 1 cup Reese’s Minis Peanut Butter Cups and marshmallows and return to microwave for 1 minute 15 seconds.
- Stir gently, but quickly until peanut butter cups are mostly melted. Add in pretzel-peanut combination and stir until well coated. As mixture cools it will get slightly more difficult to stir.
- Transfer to lined pan and quickly press mixture down into pan. Sprinkle Reese’s Pieces and remaining 1/2 cup Reese’s Mini Peanut Butter Cups on top and gently press into the top of the bars.
- Let cool. Lift parchment from pan and cut into small squares. Makes 16-20 squares.

I’m confused- I’m not sure which one of the several photos of the recipe you’re talking about, but I assure you, the end product that I photographed is exactly the recipe I posted. Give them a try- you’ll see for yourself.
