I followed the recipe word for word. The cookies spread when baked and crumbled when taking off the cookie sheet. Not worth trying to glaze them, I threw the entire batch out. Very disappointing!

The flavor was good tho!

If your dough is crumbly add in a little more butter and knead the dough with your hands. The ingredients need to be mixed more. When making these cookies we flatten the ball between our palms and them dip them in powdered sugar before baking.

Interesting Joan! Sorry you had trouble with them. I know they’re delicate, but I haven’t experienced them being THAT delicate. I wonder why yours were so crumbly…

They were very tasty but the dough is so delicate that the cookies did not hold up well. A lot of them crumbled as we glazed them And storing them was a challenge. I wish they ere a little sturdier becuse I loved the flavor!
