HOW DO YOU MAKE STABILIZED WHIPPED CREAM?
If you want to make whipped cream ahead of time, you can, but you have to stabilize it. To make stabilized whipped cream, you will need the following ingredients:
- 4 ounces of cream cheese (softened to room temperature)
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Beat the whipping cream just until soft peaks form.
Add in the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip on high until mixture is smooth.
Store in the refrigerator until ready to use, up to 3 days.
A little tip for making whipped cream faster: use a metal bowl and place the bowl in the freezer for about 30 minutes before you make the whipped cream. This will significantly decrease the amount of time that you will need to beat the whipped cream – the process will go much faster!

yes

Is this made in a 9×13 size pan??
Nicole says
yes it is
Sarah says
Are you able to refrigerate this or should it be stored in the freezer the whole time until gone?
Nicole says
You can keep it in the fridge for a few hours, but the longer it sits in there the softer it will become, making it harder to slice and serve
Tami says
I made this dessert for a co workers bday and based on your photos, I think you accidentally doubled the pudding and cool whip in the recipe- I had two layers in my 9X13 and it was overflowing- I took out some of the pudding mixture and only had room for 1 can of frosting- I did not do the 3rd layer of cookies- i just crushed the remaining in the box and sprinkled them in the first layer of the twix. They all said it was delicious, however when I make it again- I will use a much deeper pan and put the candy bar, frosting and caramel in the middle as well- giving it ore of a trifle look.
Nicole says
we have found that some 9×13 baking dishes are not the same depth as others, so it does help to have a deeper set pan. that said, a cool tip is to use the deep 9×13 disposable pans because they’re cheap and get the job done well 🙂
