I made these cookies and did not have good results. The first batch came out extremely flat. On the second batch I used different sprinkles and turned down the oven temp and the were still flat. The taste of the dough was good but the cookies were not appealing and completely broke apart.

In reply to Stephanie Draper. If your dough falls flat when baking it is most likely due to warm butter. Next time chill the dough for a good hour or so before shaping and baking. This can really help to get the cookies to hold their shape better. If you're in a hurry you may be able to shape the dough and then freeze on a baking sheet for 30 minutes.

Hi I followed this recipe and my cookies were like pancakes. Maybe because it’s a hot day here in CA? The dough was so tasty but the cookies didn’t look so appealing. Any suggestion? Thanks!

My 3.5 year old and his 18m brother just “made” these, they had fun, not too much of a mess, and they’re perfectly soft! It will probably be my new go to recipe for the holidays, and I’ll just switch the sprinkles colors.
