In reply to Sneh. You can use milk instead of sour cream. For a basic powdered sugar glaze, whisk together 1.5 cups powdered sugar with 2 TBSP butter, 1 tsp almond extract and about 2 TBSP milk. : )

Hi ..the recipe looks awesome and so different ..please help me with few things …what is sour cream …I have to use Only the store bought(it is very expensive out her ) or can I make the same at home …Iam somehow very fond of icing sugar glaze over dry cakes ..how can I make that instead of condensed milk glaze

In reply to Amy. Yep, you can make in a 9X13, but you'll need to reduce the cooking time. Most cakes bake for about 25-30 minutes in a 9X13, but make sure to keep a close eye on it so it doesn't overbake!
