In reply to morag gow. If you want to add raisins, I'd swap some of the apple for them. The recipe has a lot of apples already and I worry if you simply add raisins, it'd throw off the ratio of fruit to batter. Enjoy!

Hi again! I’m wondering if I can add raisins to the recipe. What do you think, and if so, what quantity? (Not that the recipe needs any thing extra, it’s just because I like raisins and don’t have a recipe anything as scrumptious as this dutch apple bread!). Thanks Morag

Made this a couple of days ago & it is amazing. Without a doubt the best dessert loaf I have ever made. I have made my share of banana bread but this beats all of them hands down. Will be looking for your version of banana bread to try. t y
