In reply to nascar4433. Have you ever just tried to add heavy cream to cooked pasta while it's still in the pan? I like to add heavy cream, with some minced garlic and onion powder- it's pretty much the easiest cream sauce ever! Pesto is a great idea too! (Try mixing the basic cream sauce and the pesto- WOW!)

I’m limited on tomato products due to Hyperkalemia from CKD, and am not fond of jarred white pasta sauces. Could I use pesto instead? Any other suggestions that would work with your recipe? Thank you…it sounds easy and delicious.
