My dough came out the same way.  Very dry and wouldn&#039;t come together.  I finally used my hands to form a ball.  It was almost like the butter was so cold that it wouldn&#039;t bind.  Using my hands did the trick.  The blackberries burst and then made it very wet on the outside but that was because there were frozen first and huge berries from last spring.  Once these baked they were perfect!]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[This was the first time making homemade scones.  This recipe is amazing!  I was debating if I wanted to make them because I hate trying to cut butter and flour together.  When I saw this recipe and grating it I decided to try.  Total game changer!  I have now made blackberry, strawberry, raspberry/white chocolate, and raspberry/dark chocolate.]]></description>

Its may be the way you are scooping your flour with the measuring cup. Try scooping with a spoon into the measuring cup.]]></description>
