Smooth & creamy Easy Reese’s Fudge made with just 3 simple ingredients! Vanilla frosting & peanut butter chips combine for this easy Reese’s Pieces Fudge!
This simple and easy peanut butter Reeses fudge recipe is so simple and easy that it only needs 3 ingredients and a few minutes of prep. My whole family couldn’t stop raving about it as they devoured piece after piece. My husband even said it tasted like those Nutter Butter cookies, so if you like those, then know you’re going to love this fudge recipe!
Easy fudge Recipe
It’s a wonderfully easy recipe that anyone can make and it’s so much fun to make too! It has a perfectly smooth and creamy texture and is packed with peanut butter flavor. It’s so simple and and I love that it’s ready to eat within minutes. Customize your own fudge by simply switching out the frosting flavors or by using chocolate chips. I personally enjoy mine with a bit of sea salt sprinkled on top.
3-Ingredient Reese’s Fudge Ingredients
-Frosting: Using 1 container of vanilla frosting (the regular kind, not the fluffy/whipped version) we will help to create a sweet and creamy base for our fudge recipe.
-Peanut butter chips: We’re going to melt a 10-ounce bag of peanut butter chips for a rich flavor throughout our fudge.
-Reeses Pieces: A 10-ounce sized bag of Reese’s Pieces does more than just give this treat its namesake. They also provide us with colorful pieces of fun and a nice subtle crunch in every square.
How to Make Easy Fudge In the Microwave
Take off the foil seal and lid of a container of vanilla frosting and place it in the microwave for 30 seconds.
Place the peanut butter chips in a bowl and microwave for 1 minute.
Stir the melted frosting and chips together well in the bowl.
Add in about 3/4 of the bag of Reese’s Pieces.
Spread the mixture into a greased 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish and then top with the remaining Reese’s Pieces.
Let the fudge sit on the counter and cool for about 30 minutes until solid.
Slice into small squares and serve. Enjoy!
Where Can I Find The Mini Reese’s Pieces?
These tiny Reese’s candies can be hard to find, but I can almost always located them in the ice cream topping section of most grocery stores. If you’re having a hard time finding them, you can use the regular Reese’s Pieces.

How Long is Reeses Fudge Good For?
Store covered in an airtight container and this fudge lasts for several days. That is unless everyone catches on to the fact that it’s there… then it might just disappear fast!
Can I freeze peanut butter fudge?
Yes, absolutely! Feel free to freeze your fudge if you don’t think you can eat it all fast enough. I recommend slicing it into serving-sized squares before freezing in an airtight container as it just makes serving that much easier when the fudge thaws. Can last about 3 months in the freezer.

Jessica says
So glad to hear you liked it!!
Debbie Rutherford says
Can this be made ahead of time to then get boxed and give as gifts??can I use a buttered 8×8 E-Z foil pan? Should it be stored in the fridge?? Thank you.
Jessica says
Yes, it can be made ahead and given as gifts. I personally wouldn’t store any fudge in the fridge, this recipe included- it dries it out. Just store in a covered container on the counter top. A buttered 8×8 EZ foil pan would be PERFECT! Enjoy!
Lynne says
Can you make this using chocolate icing? My husband loves chocolate and Reeses but he’s not a fan of vanilla. Thanks
Jessica says
you can! It’s amazing!
Jessica says
I make mine with a container of peanut butter and one container chocolate icing.nuke both in microwave for 30 second intervals then mix together to combine
Jessica says
Great idea!
Becky says
So do you think you could freeze it??
Jessica says
Hmmm… I’m not sure this would be a good recipe to freeze. The texture is somewhat delicate- it’s soft and really creamy. I’m worried freezing it would dry it out.
Mary says
Have you ever made this in mini muffin tins?
Patty says
Can you use Cream cheese frosting?
Jessica says
I haven’t tried it with Cream Cheese Icing- let me know if you try it!
Lori A Dumm says
You can use any frosting I tried all kinds of frostings !
Donna Batten says
Do all your recipes have a “Jump to Recipe” and a “Print Recipe” buttons at the top of the page? I really liked that and printed it out. I plan to make the 3-Ingredient Reese’s Fudge.
Jessica says
Yes, they all have them Donna! Glad you liked that function!
Dana says
Can you use peanut butter instead of peanut butter chips?
Nellie says
The fudge won’t set up if you use regular peanut butter. I’d stick with the peanut butter chips!
Kathy says
I think I will try this. Looks delicious.
Alison says
I hope you enjoy it Kathy!
