CHICKEN PASTA SALAD

Simple salad that everyone loves! You’ll adore the flavors in this creamy, satisfying chicken pasta salad. Very versatile and hearty. Perfect summer meal! Chicken Pasta Salad - Butter With A Side of BreadI’ve been making variations of this pasta salad for years. It’s one of my favorites once the weather warms up and the picnics begin! It’s easy to make and incredibly versatile. The combination of chicken and pasta and fruit with the creamy dressing is delicious! I like to serve it for dinner, then love eating leftovers for lunch the next day.

Chicken Pasta Salad

  • 1/2 of a 12 oz package Bow Tie pasta
  • 3 cups diced cooked chicken
  • 1 heaping cup of red grapes
  • 2 stalks of celery, sliced
  • 1 diced apple
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp all-purpose seasoning
  • dash of onion powder
  • salt & pepper to taste

Cook pasta in salted boiling water for 10 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water for several minutes, until pasta is cool.

Combine pasta, chicken, grapes, celery and apple in a large bowl. Whisk together remaining ingredients for the dressing, then pour on top of salad and mix to combine.

Serve chilled.
