The Best Ham & Cheese Scrambled Eggs - Butter With A Side of BreadWe go through at least a dozen eggs each week at our house. I perfected this recipe months ago and have lost count how many times I’ve made them. They have a special ingredient that gives them a boost of flavor and nice, fluffy texture.

The Best Ham & Cheese Scrambled Eggs

  • 6-7 eggs (I used 7 medium eggs)
  • 1/2 cup diced ham
  • 1 TBSP water (or milk, but water makes the eggs fluffier)
  • 1 heaping tsp Ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar Jack cheese
  • salt, pepper & chives to taste

Heat a frying pan on medium heat. Spray with a bit of non-stick cooking spray and add in diced ham, stirring occasionally.

Crack eggs into a bowl. Add in water and Ranch dressing. Whisk until combined.

Pour eggs into frying pan with ham. Using a rubber spatula, mix gently. Allow to cook, turning eggs occasionally.  Once eggs are nearly cooked add in half the cheese. Stir to combine. Remove from heat once completely cooked (time will vary depending on how soft you like your scrambled eggs.)

Top with remaining cheese and serve.
